Meet Dr. Breda
Dr. Breda was born in Louisiana, but raised in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Raytown South High School in 1977, where he played on the Missouri State 4A State Champion basketball team his senior year.
Dr. Breda attended the University of Missouri- Columbia, graduating in 1981 with a B.S. in Biology. Moving back to Kansas City, he was accepted and then graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1985. Following dental school, he completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Illinois in Chicago.
After practicing in Kansas City of one year, Dr. Breda joined Dr. Hesterberg in May of 1990. His major interest is outpatient dentoalveolar surgery and anesthesia.
Outside the office, Dr. Breda is an avid endurance athlete. He competes in numerous running races and triathlons with the emphasis on long distance. He has run 16 marathons, including seven Ironman distance races. Most recently, he qualified for and completed the Hawaiian Ironman in October 2006.
